【方法一：首位呼應法寫】
 
2017年高考真題，講述的是與健忘媽媽一塊去旅游的故事。
I had an interesting  childhood. It was filled with surprise and amusements, all because of my mother--loving, sweet, yet absent-minded and forgetful. 
 
我有一個有趣的童年，充滿了驚喜和娛樂，都是因為我的母親——可愛，卻心不在焉，健忘。
 
結尾時候回到文章的開頭再次重申媽媽的性格，深化主題。
 
文章結尾：首尾呼應
 
Despite mom's being absent-minded and forgetful, she was still a kind and nice mom. 
 
盡管媽媽總是心不在焉，健忘，但她仍然是一個和藹可親的媽媽。
 
【方法二：名言式結尾法】
 
名言結尾能增添文采，凝煉中心，深化主旨，引出結論并抒情凸顯主旨，渲染氛圍
 
注意：不可生搬硬套名言警句，一定要具體文本具體分析。
 
Just as the saying goes，“Where there is a will， there is a way.”Now I couldnt agree more with those words. 
正如俗話所說，“有志者，事竟成。”現(xiàn)在我完全同意這句話。
 
【方法三：情感升華法】
 
Seeing sth , I felt as if it had been doing and saying,”........”
看到某物，感覺某物好像在做某動作，并且說“（突出主題的話）”。
 
看個例子。主人公“我”是個頹廢少年，無意中通過自己的專長“扔標槍”，找到了自信，并成功逆襲。我們怎么通過萬能句型來升華呢？
 
助人型主旨升華句
Seeing the javelin, I felt as if it had been encouraging me and saying, “You’ve found your talent and I’ve found you”看到標槍，我覺得它好像在鼓勵我，并說，“你找到了你的天賦，我找到了你”。這句話中，javelin是“標槍”，talent是“天賦”
 
公式：動作+感動+感悟  助人型主旨升華句
 
sb looked at sth / held sth, tears rolling down without control. It is love that makes the world go around,which sb felt deep in one’s heart. 
 
某人看到了某物或者拿著某物，眼淚毫無控制地流了下來。 正是愛讓世界轉動，在某人的心里深深地感受到了這一點。
這個“動作”可以是：看到了某情景，或者拿著一樣東西。“感動”很好理解，別人幫助了自己，產(chǎn)生的情緒就是“感動”，最常見的就是“眼淚往下流”。“感悟”這一句，往往是“愛”“善行”“付出”等關鍵字的勵志句。
 
成長型主旨升華句
 
 
“改變”和“成長”是我們讀后續(xù)寫一個重要主題。在第二段的結尾處，我們怎樣寫“改變成長”型的主旨升華句呢？我們可以根據(jù)“改變”的因素來學習不同的表達。比如克服困難，克服自卑等。下面有七類不同的改變模式。
 
第一類
學習知識促“改變”
 
 
知識就是力量！在改變的過程中，學習不同的知識，然后才能面對各種困難和挑戰(zhàn)。比如屏幕前的你，不就是在學習讀后續(xù)寫的技巧嗎？請看下面的例句，也是我送給正在學習的你。
 
It's never too late to learn. Each individual has the right to accept more challenges and make moreattempts.學習永遠為時不晚。每個人都應該并且有權利去接受更多的挑戰(zhàn)，做更多的嘗試。
【分析】individual這里表示“個人，個體”。make more attempts 做更多嘗試。
 
第二類
發(fā)揮天賦促“改變”
 
 
認識自身天賦，并且發(fā)揮天賦，這是改變我們的現(xiàn)狀的一個重要條件。請看下面的例句。
 
Actually, every individual possesses talent. Be brave when you find it and also make efforts. You can create miracles in the end.
事實上，每個人都有天賦，發(fā)現(xiàn)它的時候要勇敢，也要付出努力，最終你會創(chuàng)造奇跡。
【分析】possess 擁有。create miracles表示創(chuàng)造奇跡。
 
第三類
追逐夢想促“改變”
 
 
永遠不要忽視了夢想的力量！“做人如果沒有理想,跟咸魚有什么區(qū)別呢”。請看下面兩個例句。
 
It's never too late to go for your dream. As long as you grasp every opportunity and take full advantage of it, you will stand a chance to realize your dreams.追夢永遠不晚。只要你抓住機會，充分利用機會，你就有機會實現(xiàn)夢想。
【分析】take full advantage of 充分利用，  realize your dreams表示“實現(xiàn)夢想”
 
第四類
克服困難促“改變”
 
 
只有克服各種苦難，才能改變現(xiàn)狀。請看下面的例句。
 
The journey to success is not smooth. It is full of challenges and difficulties. We should be brave to face them. As long as we don’t give up hope and make every effort to overcome all the difficulties, we will surely achieve our goal (success) finally.
 
通往成功的路不會平坦，充滿挑戰(zhàn)和艱辛。我們要勇敢面對。只要不放棄希望并竭盡全力克服所有困難，我們最終會實現(xiàn)我們的目標（成功）。
 
【分析】smooth 表示“平坦的”overcome all the difficulties 表示“克服困難”；make every effort 表示“做出努力”；as long as，表示“只要”，引導條件狀語從句。
 
第五類
戰(zhàn)勝恐懼促“改變”
 
 
我們在改變的過程中，經(jīng)常需要克服自己內(nèi)心的恐懼。請看下面的例句：
Determination and optimism are what it takes to conquer your fear and accomplish your goal.戰(zhàn)勝恐懼和實現(xiàn)目標，需要決心和樂觀。
 
【分析】Determination 表示“決心”；optimism表示“樂觀”。conquer your fear表示“克服你的恐懼”；accomplish your goal表示“完成目標”
 
【2023屆江蘇省南京市第一中學高三一模試題】 In class, I tried my best to seize every opportunity to improve myself. Gradually, I began to have normal conversations with my classmates and got along well with them. Everything in life was becoming more and more beautiful.
 
第六類
戰(zhàn)勝自卑促“改變”
 
 
我們在改變之前，可能會有一些自卑的心理阻礙著我們成長，比如自己的外貌的缺陷，性格內(nèi)向等，如何克服自卑，實現(xiàn)人生逆襲？請看下面的例句。
 
I smiled as I eventually realized the real source of confidence.Now, I am proud of what I look like and much happier, because I have realized it is your personality that decides who you truly are.
 
我笑了，因為我最終意識到了自信的真正來源?，F(xiàn)在，我為我的樣子感到驕傲，而且更快樂，因為我已經(jīng)意識到，決定你真正是誰的是你的個性。
 
【分析】
eventually表示“最后，終于”；personality 表示“個性”。
 
第七類
戰(zhàn)勝消極促“改變”
 
 
積極的心態(tài)像太陽，照到哪里，哪里亮。“積極”思維，最終讓我們成長改變，這種主題，是讀后續(xù)寫中比較常見的。請看下面的例句。
 
Attitude is more important than facts for us. We cannot change our past; we cannot change the fact. However, the only thing we can do is hold a positive attitude.
態(tài)度對我們來說比事實更重要。 我們不能改變我們的過去；我們不能改變事實。 然而，我們唯一能做的就是保持積極的態(tài)度。
【分析】
Attitude表示“態(tài)度”；positive attitude.就是“積極的態(tài)度”。
 
 
 
【方法四：用修辭手法】
 
 
 
以下是可以用于讀后續(xù)寫結尾的一些美詞美句，它們通過運用多種修辭手法讓文章更有畫面感和美感，既能點題又能大大加強文章的可讀性。
 
1. Todays experience was like an everlasting flower， blooming in the river of my memories. 今天的經(jīng)歷將會像是一朵永不凋謝的花朵，永遠綻放在我的記憶里。（比喻）（bloom開花）
 
2. With laughter lingering in the room， their sincere friendship blossomed in the summer like a flower that never fades. 伴隨著笑聲回蕩在房間里，他們真摯的友誼之花盛開在這個夏季，永不凋敗。（比喻）（linger回蕩，徘徊; blossom開花）
 
3. Alexs beam of smile seemed to wipe off Theos frustration and he was really expecting to be the next champion. Alex的微笑沖散了Theo心中的陰霾，他又開始對下一次的勝利充滿期待。（擬人，比喻）（frustration沮喪）
 
4. His words floated in the wind like a birds happy song. 他的話語回蕩在風中，就像鳥兒的歌聲一樣歡快動聽。（比喻）
 
5 Follow your dream and the universe will open doors where there are only walls. 追隨你的夢想吧，宇宙會在原本只有墻的地方為你敞開大門。（擬人）
 
6. Love matters more than anything， which can conquer /overcome /get the better of any difficulty. 愛勝過一切，它能打敗世間的任何困難。（擬人）

此外，用“only +狀語”開頭的倒裝，以及not only ... but also…連接句子時的倒裝，也是一種不錯的結尾。如：
Only when we open up the door of our heart can we be bathed in the brilliant sunshine and enjoy the warmth of love. 只有當我們打開心門，我們才能沐浴在陽光中享受愛的溫暖。（比喻;倒裝）
 
總之，高考續(xù)寫的方向往往是積極向上的，結尾時通常弘揚一種正面的情感，如，“助人為樂、勤奮、友情、親情和自我成長”等。如2021年新高考全國Ⅰ卷讀后續(xù)寫講述的是孩子們精心為媽媽準備母親節(jié)早餐，經(jīng)歷一番波折之后，最終以闔家歡樂結尾。顯然，其主題為“親情”。我們可以套用上述這個句子“With laughter lingering around the room， the love among family blossomed in the summer like a flower that never fades.”

A small act/gesture of kindness will perhaps melt/cure one’s loneliness.
"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention." (王爾德)
Never underestimate the power/value of our actions (to lift people up).
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
The miracle is this: the more we share the more we have.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
To change the worst situation into best, one should take actions.

Adversity/Setbacks in life is either a blessing in disguise or a fruitful lesson.
Your current situation is not your final destination.
Be patient, trust the timing and enjoy the journey.

3、真善美- 個人成長
 
Where there is a will, there is a way. (有志者事竟成)
It’s never too late to learn. Every individual is supposed to accept more challenges and make more attempts.
Actually, each individual possesses talent. Be brave, rise to setbacks/obstacles, and make efforts. You will end up creating miracles. (直面困難/努力/終將制造奇跡)
Seize the day, and chase your dreams. As long as you grasp every opprtunity and take full advantage of it, you will stand a chance to realize your dreams.
The journey to success is not smooth. It is full of challenges and difficulties.
If you get disheartened or discouraged by these hurdles, you can not attain success.
4、親情主題
 
Family and friends are hidden treasures.
Family, a wonderful shelter and a 24-hour harbor, is always there for us.
Family love is the greatest gift in life.
Family is to us what harbor is to ships. (家庭之于我們就像港口之于船只)
